Event Description - Turkey Trot!

Despite the name's implication, Turkey Trot is a fund raiser that requires no athletic prowess to help out! In fact, volunteers are lining up to do any number of things throughout Thanksgiving morning, November 27th, as the Silicon Valley Applied Materials event enters its fourth year in the Bay Area.

Willamette alum George Mead '74, in conjunction with Team Willamette, has organized the effort. Any alumni volunteers will receive Bearcat gear and a chance to help out during a time in which we can be both thankful and mindful of others' need.
