Objective:
    The 50th reunion is one of, if not the most significant reunion. Generally, for those able to participate in their 50th reunion, the years at Willamette University bring back good memories and special friends. Many of the friends have been lifetime friends. For many, there is an appreciation for the opportunities provided to them through their Willamette education and they are at a time in their life that gifting resources and giving back to Willamette becomes more important. The 50th Reunion Giving Program offers the classmate an opportunity to make a meaningful gift to the University.

What counts:
    Classmates are encouraged to give only what they feel that they can financially afford. By giving through a class effort, the result can be much more impactful to the future of Willamette by designating class gifts for Student Scholarships or Faculty Chairs or even capital projects.
    To encourage individuals to participate, the University has expanded the range of gift purposes that will count toward the Overall Class Gift:
    1. Any gifts that are made to a designated Class Purpose (Scholarship/Chair etc)
    2. Once the Class has announced their organization for their 50th reunion and gift, any gifts 
    that are made for named scholarships, chairs, capital projects.
    3. Gifts to the Willamette Fund and Bearcat fund count in the Reunion Year.
